Green Eyes Take Warning

Oh, yeah. I went there!

Man... Sonic's got such a perverted smile... Err... oh well.

So, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is coming out in July, and it appears it's being met with a combination of enthusiasm and disgust. Personally, I'm rather excited about it, however... one can't help and laugh at the idiotic fanDumb that's complaining about some of the most retarded things I've ever heard of.

Case and point... Some out there are complaining about Sonic having green eyes.

Really...?

No, seriously... Even TVTropes mentioned this in their Sonic 4 article and seemingly are shaking their heads in shame and laughing their heads off. Remember, eyes do not equal good or bad gameplay.

Let's not forget some of the other silly complaints, like Eggman not being called Robotnik, even though Eggman has been his name since Sonic 1 in Japan.


Personally, I'm looking at this new game not negatively, but as neutral as possible. (Although, I can't help but feel excited about it). From what I've experienced with the things I've seen so far, I've only noticed these few cons:

~Sonic uncurls from his ball form when spin-dashing up a hill, which exposes him to danger.
~Some of the music is a bit slower than I would have liked. _{(Still catchy, though.)}
~It's downloadable instead of buying a hard copy in the store. _{(This is my personal preference. I'm the type of person that likes to have a cartridge/CD/DVD/jewel case in my hands. I like reading the enclosed instruction books that come with it and look at the pictures inside. Yes, I'm silly like that. )}

The pros I've noticed were:

~Very tasty-looking graphics.
~The music has the old-skool Genesis sound to it.
~Sonic's back to 2D-like running goodness.
~The title screen... _{(I missed that wing logo...)}
~The gameplay looks pretty good. _{(But I'd know better once I play it for myself)}
~Super Sonic is PLAYABLE in the LEVELS!!


Anyway, this picture is to say that people really shouldn't sweat the small stuff, such as eye color, and instead... should worry more about the gameplay, which is the most important part.

I don't know if Sonic 4 will be a boom or bust, but I'm hoping it'll be great! I guess I'll have to wait till July to find that out for sure.


Oh, and that's my first Eggman I've drawn, and on my tablet, no-less. Sorry if he looks a bit... Fawful!
