Personality: <sub>Bæset is a happy-go-lucky, outgoing and easily-excitable purrloin who, despite her tiny size and chubby weight, doesn't ever give up and continues to climb to the top of any challenge, no matter what. She's the type of pokemon who's very easy to talk to and can become close friends with, as she tends to keep everything dear to her very, VERY close. Bæset is a very maternal purrloin who loves and cares for both her family and friends; and tends to be drawn to caring for children, pets and anyone who seems weak or frail. Due to her background, she is hesitant to talk about her past and prefers to listen to the stories of others, especially if it helps her learn more about someone. Also because of her background, she's more empathetic and compassionate with those who've had a rough life and she tries not to judge anyone regardless of where they came from (aside from one certain species...).

However, Bæset does have a bit of a jealous streak and can become extremely protective and paranoid at times, especially if she fears she may lose something or someone precious to her. Despite her age, she's prone to acting very childish, especially if she becomes overly excited or if she really, REALLY wants something. She's also obsessed with food, her favorites being sweet desserts and spicy meals. She doesn't have much control over her hunger and will literally gorge herself into a food coma if no one's watching. Despite the fact that she knows that this makes her fat, any negative comments about her weight will cause her to lash out at the offender or cry. Bæset is also sensitive about her breast size (or lack thereof) and will react in a similar manner as she does with her weight. Still, Bæset is still working with her faults as she tries to improve herself. After all, doesn't every pokemon want that for themselves?</sub>

History:
<sub>Bæset's life in the beginning wasn't the easiest. Born into a dark-type only cult known as the Dark Disciples, it seemed as if this purrloin was going to be one of the many children to become brain-washed into taking over the world with the cult's strength and ideals. Luckily, her outsider persian father, Jericho, rescued Bæset and her liepard mother, Nirashi, and moved them to a place where the three of them would hopefully live the rest of their lives in peace as normal pokemon. Sadly, such a fate was not to pass, since six years later, Nirashi kidnapped her own daughter and fled back into the cult's world. There, Bæset would be trained in their ways for seven years before Jericho broke in once again to free his daughter and wife. The second attempt was unsuccessful, with various cult members leaving him for dead and a traumatized purrloin to flee for her life the next morning.

While on the run, Bæset spent the next five years on the streets fending for herself as best she could. She quickly learned the tricks of the trade, how to steal, hide, ration and sell when needed. She fell madly in love with a street meowth, but was too shy to tell him, and he eventually wound up breaking her heart. She befriended a very special female, whom she thought she would live with forever, at least until that person moved away. Regardless, even if one of these did work out, Bæset was always on the move, sometimes because of the unfortunate stereotype that purrloins had on them; but mainly due to the fact she feared the cult would eventually find her. She always kept the fact she was an ex-cult member a secret, for fear of what others might do to her.

When she was eighteen, she eventually stumbled upon a small town which seemed fresh, new and safe and was inviting potential villagers in. It was here where Bæset met Ivan; an alakazam who would eventually become her boyfriend; along with a large cast of friends of all pokemon species. The purrloin lived here for about three years enjoying the good life, dancing, singing, eating, playing and creating all sorts of wacky hijinks. She and Ivan happily wound up adopting a cubone child together, even if it was accidental. Although, the cult members were never able to find her in this town, she did have close encounters with a few in the nearby city. Sadly, Bæset's roots could not remain in the town, for as its villagers slowly moved away, the town eventually died. With a heavy heart, Bæset and her new family packed up and moved to the faraway Lumiose City to start their lives anew. Luckily, the city was bustling, friendly and full of life. In fact, this place was the purrloin's dream come true.

It was here where Bæset was finally proposed to at the Prism Tower and the purrloin realized she really wanted to do good for her family. First thing's first: enrolling her son Tibia in a proper school. Recalling what a paranormal investigator mentioned while ridding bad spirits in her and Ivan's old mansion; the, at the time, lady houndour said she was still going to school at a place called the Armonia Institute. After much research between that school and many others, Bæset decided Armonia would be perfect for Tibia. Not only that... Bæset decided to enroll as well, to the fabled Mirage College nearby! The main reason being she wanted to get an education in order to better herself for the job market. Dancing wasn't a lucrative business in Lumiose and she didn't want to steal anymore or live off of Ivan's income alone. Plus, being close to the same school as her son would allow the purrloin to keep a close eye on him and protect him if he got into trouble. Hopefully, this can be one more goal that Bæset can achieve.</sub>


Hobbies/Former Jobs:
<sub>- Peddling - Bæset loves to sell her extra berries, acquired trinkets and other such items to various clients in and out of school. You want something special? She most likely will have it... if you're willing to pay, of course.
- Singing - Known as the purple pus... err... purrloin with the golden voice, Bæset's still quite the singer and is more than happy to perform when given the chance. Of course, most of her songs are in her native Indian tongue, so you might not understand what she's saying. Still, it does sound quite nice.
- Dancing - Back in her old hometown, Bæset used to belly dance and do a lot of other dances at a place called The Roost every weekend and would even be hired to dance for parties and such. Now-a-days, she hasn't danced as much and is a bit out of shape, but she will still shake some booty if called to the spotlight!
- Watching Bollywood Movies - These are the best movies in the entire world and if you don't like them, you have NO TASTE!</sub>

_{- Night Slash - A very strong physical move involving sharp claws imbued with darkness. They slash at a target the instant an opportunity arises. Has a high critical hit ratio!
Bæset flicks her claws out, making them suddenly absorb auras of darkness, which turns them pitch-black. She then leaps and slashes at whoever opposes her, creating a jagged trail of darkness behind her. This trail dissipates in a few seconds.}
- Pay Day^Egg - A physical move inherited from her father. This scatters coins all around with a value equal to twice the user's level for each time it's used. It causes damage to targets and nets money at the end of the battle!
Bæset does a little dance as her eyes glow a bit more golden than usual. She then raises her paws towards the sky as coins seem to shower from behind her head. Unfortunately, about 90% of the time, the coins are fake... although they're slightly more powerful, since they trade in monetary value for power.

(Out of Battle Uses) - The little purrloin loves to use this move in her dance finales. It tends to really get the audience excited, if they weren't already.

<sub>- Aerial Ace^TM - An incredibly speedy and fairly strong physical move which can and will hit anyone standing in the way. It's completely unavoidable!
Bæset used to be unable to do this unless her volcarona, Spinel Sun, was helping her. However, thanks to her training, she's learned how to do it on her own. The purrloin leaps high into the air as fake, phantom wings burst from behind her back, allowing her to float in the air for a couple seconds. The wings disappear while she does a backflip and dives towards her opponents, slashing at them at supersonic speed with her claws and creating a huge shock-wave behind her, which damages anyone standing around her in all directions.
- Moonlight^Fusion - A non-damaging status move that uses the power of the moon to heal the user. It restores HP based on weather conditions. Normal weather restores ½ total HP, sunny weather completely restores HP, and unfavorable weather conditions, such as rain and hail, restore ¼ total HP.
Bæset's eyes glow cutely as she raises her paws up and says a prayer towards the moon. A bright beam of moonlight shines down upon her, healing her wounds.</sub>

These include heart-shaped paw pads, shorter "mittens", curly ear tuffs, long curly hair, extra chest fluff and a hole in the middle of her tail. All of these features are purely cosmetic and don't improve or hinder her abilities.
~ She prefers to be awake during the night and sleep all day.

_{~ When nervous, scared, or excited, her tail twitches crazily.
~ She also has a tendency to smoosh her own cheeks with her paws when blushing, excited, or occasionally when sobbing.
~ If Bæset's ear twitches (typically her left one) it means she's really angry at someone and is trying to keep her fury from exploding.
~ If Bæset is really close to someone, she'll greet them with a teabaggin glomp to the face if she's tiny enough to get away with it.
~ She loves batting at bugs, flowers and other small, moving things. She tends to do this when she thinks no one's watching.
